Description

Charming one bedroom apartment, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, for four people or two adults plus two children. 

The living area is very comfortable and welcoming and you will feel instantly at home thanks to the lovely decorations. It features a comfortable sofa, which converts into a double bed, two armchairs, a hifi system, a flat screen TV with cable and DVD and plenty of books so you can take a break between two shopping sprees. There is also a large wooden table, which can easily seat six people. The separate contemporary kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs, whether you want to try out some elaborate french cuisine recipe, or just heat up some take away food. A dishwasher, a washing machine, a dryer and an iron and board are also available. The separate bedroom has a double bed, a wooden floor and a wardrobe. The bathroom has a regular bath with a shower, a washbasin and toilet. For your convenience there is also a high speed Internet connection, airconditioning and an elevator, to take you up to this typical Parisian apartment on the fourth floor. Just a short walk away you will find plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as the metro lines 4 and 10 from which you can travel all over Paris. This cosy apartment is the perfect place for you and your family or friends to have a wonderful stay right in the center of Paris.

Location

Located right in the centre of Paris, on the left bank of the Seine river, the 6th Arrondissement is ideal for visiting the main places of interest of the capital. Once famous for its writers and intellectuals, Saint-Germain-des-Prés is now quite a posh area were you will find plenty of small exclusive designer boutiques, antique shops and fine art dealers. There are also several cinemas and loads of bookstores. You could go for a drink at the Procope, the oldest café in town, or at the Café de Flore where intellectuals and artists have been meeting and working since the 1920's. Going North you can cross the river and it is only a short walk to Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, or to the Louvre museum. South is the magnificent Jardin du Luxembourg; the Musée d'Orsay and the Eiffel tower are west and the lively Latin quarter is east. Getting bored is not part of the plan!
